It seems several people were given Eevee eggs to care for. I am glad to see that the little ones are hatching and seem to be doing well.

[ That much, at least, is true. ]

I was wondering how much of an introduction to Pokemon nature and care you were given? While they have many similarities with the animals I have met here, they require some special attention.

[ What he is trying not to come out directly and say is that he has no idea who any of you all are, if you can be trusted, and that he has no faith in Lyra. ]

If anyone has questions, or trouble, I'm willing to teach you about Pokemon. I can also speak directly to your Eevee, and translate any concerns.

[ He also does not say that if he has any concerns, he will be hunting you down personally. ]

No. Hopefully I got to all of the new trainers, however. I don't know how many eggs there were to begin with.

No idea. I don't know too much about creatures from other places yet. Never bothered to look much up.

Have you seen Lyra around lately? We could ask her. I'm sure she might have a figure in mind. [or wait, N can talk to Pokemon.]

Or her Umbreon might, at any rate.

What sort of advice did you give to the people that were given eggs?

I told them how to keep their eggs warm and mobile. Also what diet to start them on when they hatch and watch to avoid.

You told them to avoid that 'pet food' nonsense they have stocked in the grocery stores here, right? I don't think my team would eat that if I offered it, but with other Pokemon, I can't be too sure.

I did not think of that. Would they really try to feed that to Pokemon? I told them to start with milk and move up to crushed fruit.

I'm sure some might've thought of it. I doubt they know the differences between Pokemon diets and their animals' diets.
