♔ Eyes brimming with dark flame...

Characters: N and Minato
Status: Closed.

It had been two days since N had been home, and no one seemed quite sure where he was. His name was still on the SFC, and he had been spotted once or twice, but he missed any appointments he had made and did not contact any of his friends or housemates.

If one paid close attention, however, in the early morning hours, they might catch sight of Purrloin darting down the street, a stolen bagel in her mouth. She heads out of the plaza and far beyond the city limits, slipping into the forest.

In one of the forest clearings, there sits the missing boy, surrounded by his team and seemingly content. He reaches out and takes the bagel from Purrloin's mouth, giving her a fond stroke before he takes a bite.

...They laugh. They love. They make friends--with each other, with Pokemon. They create new families.

Will you destroy that? Will you destroy families? Torture those who are happy by taking away their happiness? Because you have judged it to be just?

They do not count Pokemon as their family. I do not care what human families do, as long as the Pokemon are free from them and safe.

[Slowly and deliberately, Minato tucks his hands carefully into his pockets.

He looks at N for a moment, responding quietly.]

You do not know that for fact.

[And then quietly, tone nearly cold--]

To judge off of presumptions and hearsay...that is unfair to people and Pokemon alike. Remember that before you make any more judgements--or mistakes.

[And then, just as carefully and deliberately...he walks away. Because he's growing angry, in his own quiet way, and he doesn't wish to be angry at N.

And so he quietly moves on. He will...come back another day. Or even in a few hours. But for now...this hits too close to home.

And so he leaves, calmly, hopefully leaving N with more to think about.]
